Welcome to the official website of the Omicron Iota Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. It is my distinct honor to serve as President of a chapter with a proud history of leadership, service, brotherhood, and impact.
For 40 years, Omicron Iota Lambda has worked to advance the mission of Alpha Phi Alpha while making a meaningful difference throughout the Columbia community and beyond. Our legacy has been built by generations of Brothers who understood that Alpha is not simply something we belong to—it is a commitment to lead, serve, mentor, advocate, and uplift.
Today, we remain committed to building upon that foundation.
Our chapter mantra, “Excellence Without Limits: Driven by Purpose. Defined by Distinction.”, reflects both who we are and who we continue striving to become. Excellence, for us, is more than recognition or achievement. It is the standard we bring to our programs, our partnerships, our service, our scholarship efforts, and most importantly, the way we represent Alpha Phi Alpha in our community.
As we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we do so with tremendous appreciation for our past and even greater excitement about our future. We are strengthening our brotherhood, developing the next generation of leaders, expanding our community impact, supporting young people through Alpha Academy and scholarship, and challenging every Brother to recognize that he has a role in moving Omicron Iota Lambda forward.
Our accomplishments belong to many, but our responsibility for what comes next belongs to all of us.
